ABOUT THE Fle2

Future Learning Environment 2 (Fle2) is a web-based groupware for computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL). Fle2 has been designed to support collaborative knowledge building and progressive inquiry. Visit our pedagogy section for more information about the pedagogical ideas behind the design of the Fle2. Future Learning Environment 2 is also research and development project of three Nordic Universities. The project has started on the June, 2000 and it will last until December, 2001. Research partners of the Fle2 R&D project are:

UIAH Media Lab, University of Art and Design Helsinki,
Department of Communication, Journalism and Computer Science, Roskilde University, and
Centre for Research in Networked Learning and Knowledge Building, University of Helsinki.

FLe2 R&D project is supported by NordUnet2 - Nordic Council of Ministers and by the Nordic Governments (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland,).
